With the harsh winter season upon us here in Minnesota, I was blessed enough to have a beautiful day to shoot these two. This house on a lake proved to be an awesome getaway, and both Matt and Emily were fun to work with.

These are so much fun! I checked out some of Gene's stuff as well- what a talented guy! Amazing photos as always, Collin. You really know how to catch the perfect moments!!
(01.07.10)Good work Collin. Especially loving the detail shots, great atmosphere and tones as well!

When my friends Spencer and Alex got engaged back in February, I couldn't have been any happier for them. Spencer and I have been great friends for over a year, and not only did I shoot their engagement pictures back in may (view it here) but I actually helped him plan his proposal and lived in the same house for a couple months leading up to his wedding. Over the summer months as you can guess, our friendship strengthened and became something I never would have guessed a year ago. Seeing him with Alex makes me ecstatic because the two just couldn't be more perfect for each other, in fact I don't think I've actually seen them without smiles when they are together.
Their wedding took place in San Diego, just south of La Jolla. It is here that myself and videographer Matt Brue from Capture Studios also did the day after shoot. Because I was apart of the wedding, I only shot a few moments of the actual day, which I hope to post eventually. Until then, enjoy these images from our afternoon along the Pacific Coast, and don't forget to check out Matt Brue's incredible video work.
Colin...yeah, up late, so I guess I get the first look at these. :-) And, wow, totally amazing!!! Seriously, you captured Spence and Alex so beautifully and I can just hear their laughter and feel like I'm there! What a beautiful pair! Are you shooting the instants with the Fuji Instax? Love that cam!
(12.08.09)Collin, this shoot is amazing! The lighting and compositions are stellar! You captured them perfectly.
(12.08.09)I think this is an amazing shoot. You captured their typical life together and made it very romantic. Something the couple and friends can relate too. Great work
