I shot Bight Club's press images back in June for their new LP "Dreamworld vs. Minneapolis". The new record drops this Saturday and I have to say it is worth the listen. Bight Club is Jeremy Nutzman and Tony Rabiola (and Business Bear). If you're in the metro area, make sure to catch their record release party at the Kitty Cat Klub this Saturday July 24th.View Bight Club's entire story HEREListen to "M.O.N.E.Why" - by Bight ClubExcerpt from local magazine Vita.mn, one of the Twin Cities' raddest music and art scene magazines:"Yes, they're from Minneapolis. No, they don't sound like Doomtree or Rhymesayers. And yes, they're getting buzzy - fast. Fresh off a Vita.mn Are You Local? best new band victory and an attention-grabbing South by Southwest stint, Bight Club is back with their debut LP "Dreamworld Vs. Minneapolis." Despite their roots, Bight Club is anything but Midwest humble..."Website: http://www.bightsite.com/

Ben plays keys in the band Sing It Loud. After shooting with the boys a couple weeks ago, Ben asked if I would do some shots of him alone. A few days later we got together and did these in about 30 minutes and had so much fun. It's great to have the guys back in town, especially since they're home for the next month and are gone for about 9 months out of the year.

Here are a couple portrait out takes from my recent shoot with Sing It Loud. These boys have been good friends of mine for many years, and I was stoked to hear when they got back from touring the country with Warped Tour that they were looking to do another shoot. These are just some fun portraits of a couple of the guys, and as you can see, they are some pretty cool dudes.
Sing It Loud is signed to Epitaph Records and put out their first full length album last year. Since then they have been touring heavily in the US and UK, so it was great to have them home again to hangout and work together again. They are currently in the process of writing a new album that should hopefully be out early next year.
Listen to some of their music: here
I can't wait to show more from this shoot, but as always those will come soon enough along with a million other things I've been working on over the past month. I have officially moved into a new place in Minneapolis as well and it's such an awesome space. It's great when you instantly feel comfortable and productive in a new environment, and I'm stoked to say I sure am!
I have also begun a new semester with my architecture studio, so wish me luck in what is sure to be some intensely long hour nights and weekends.
