Gene and Jill; Engagement at the Apple Orchard

Gene and Jill are two super great people, and I've known the both of them for quite some time. Even though they've been engaged since April we decided to patiently wait for fall just so we could shoot in prime time fall conditions at a favorite apple orchard of mine. Both Gene and Jill helped me in planning our photo outing, which I am most thankful for.

Gene is a fellow wedding photographer, you can see some of his killer work here. I'm looking forward to shooting these two again and their sweet wedding in June.

Dan and Annalise

Dan and Anna were sooooo awesome, the two are such a fun couple and couldn't be more perfect for each other. Dan just moved to the Twin Cities area in the past few months and Anna has lived here her entire life. Both of them are so relaxed and were open to just about anything for their pictures, including incorporating Dan's souped up VW Jetta, which the couple has spent much of their time together in traveling around the country exploring and shooting weddings together. I'm super pumped to be shooting their wedding in January and even more thrilled to get to know that we shared an enormous pizza from the infamous Cossetta's in downtown St. Paul.

I've been shooting so much in the past week, and I'm super pumped to blog it all. I've got about 8 shoots to finish and 6 more on the way before I leave for some whitewater rafting in a couple weeks with my family. So stoked!

Alex and Spencer

If you had to think of the most fun people to hangout with, Spencer and Alex would certainly be included in your list. Spencer has been a good friend of mine for about a year, and he also an amazingly awesome wedding photographer, check out his work: spencer-combs.com

He came to me asking for something fun and original, something that could not only showcase how much of a good time they have together, but also depict their love and sincerity with each other.

This shoot was a blast and I'm stoked to be shooting their Day After shoot in San Diego in October. It's going to be a blast!
