This past weekend I traveled to Savannah, GA to work with some very talented people and shoot a lookbook for a project known as Cavalier, designed and directed by my good friend Taylor Pemberton. Here is a teaser image from the entire feature. Taylor's brief explanation on the project sums it well:

"Cavalier Essentials is a line of vintage products designed for the rugged, yet sophisticated gentleman. Cavalier was always briefly explained as--"If Steve McQueen carried a beat-up leather duffle bag on the back of his motorcycle; what would be in it and how would the products look?" This simple idea married an appreciation for lifestyle design and vintage accessories. All of the products possess a hand-made quality while responding to the modern influences of today's culture."

Being from Minneapolis, it was an awesome break from the frigid temps of winter to go shoot for a few days in the south. The first two days we spent location scouting and meeting with the models and stylists, then shot a full day and half. Luckily weather permitted for some incredible light and Savannah offered a perfect opportunity to shoot what we wanted. Taylor did a phenomenal job with assembling a great team for us to work with as well as coordinating schedules. Stylist Lauren Maring from South Magazine did a phenominal job coordinating makeup and clothing. Taylor and I are both extremely happy with the way the project turned out, and anxious to share the images.
